About Us

Meggan began her career in catering management. After taking on responsibility for her employer's compliance procedures, she discovered a few things: that she understood it, was pretty good at it and enjoyed working through the activity. Meggan also observed that the whole implementation process filled most of her colleagues with dread.

She saw an opportunity.

Meggan spent several years building up a whole series of qualifications relating to all aspects of ISO certification and auditing. She holds NEBOSH qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management, and she is also a Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

When she's not immersed in ISO and compliance, Meggan likes to give free rein to her secret skill – baking. She originally trained as a pastry chef and the one area she loved most was chocolate making. Now Meggan bakes for friends and family and often posts a photo or two on LinkedIn.

Most of the cooking, however, is done by Meggan's husband John, who is a chef. With both of them sharing a passion for gastronomy, it's no surprise the kitchen is the heart of the Polston-Edwards household.

Meggan is a keen photographer and enjoys landscape and wildlife photography the most, as well as taking Bella (the family schnoodle) out for walks in the woods.

Like Meggan, Emma's route to ISO began in hospitality. She studied Hotel Management at the University of Surrey and worked in several world-renowned hotel chains. Emma applied her experience to gain work for global brands, both in the UK and overseas. She also worked with independent and new-to-market hotels.

She qualified as a Certified Lead Auditor, and as Emma says: "I've seen ISO deliver some amazing success stories. It provides great structure, ensures best practice, and delivers many benefits at all levels in the organisation. It makes the business accountable for quality and consistency, pushes up standards, and encourages development, growth and change."

Emma has also studied many aspects of business management and promotion, especially sales and marketing. These additional skills help her to take a well-rounded approach to each client.

Emma is sporty and likes to keep active, playing lacrosse and tennis regularly. She is also an animal lover, who said dogs or cats – why not both!

Emma is happiest out in nature, which is down to her growing up on an arable farm. Farming makes you expert at discussing the weather – perfect for British small talk!

Travel is a passion and Emma has been to 52 countries so far and is ready for more!

Beth's career began with a BSc in Microbiology from Swansea University. This led to many years working as a microbiologist analysing the quality of food, water, and later fuels, where she specialised in microbially influenced corrosion. During this time, she took responsibility for laboratory quality systems, CoSHH management, and the implementation of an Environmental Management System - sparking a passion for compliance and continual improvement.

To support this new direction, Beth gained qualifications in Quality Management, a NEBOSH General Certificate, and volunteered as a trustee for a national environmental charity. She went on to join the Alcumus Group, working on their integrated management systems and later qualifying as a Lead Auditor. Over five years she audited organisations worldwide against ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 27701, 22301 and 45001, gaining deep insight into how management systems add real value.

Since 2024 Beth has worked as a management systems consultant, helping clients to implement, improve, and audit their systems, with a focus on practical compliance and legal evaluation.

Alongside her professional career, Beth contributes to her local community as a school governor and through volunteer work. Outside of work she enjoys travelling, supporting grassroots rugby, and time with family and friends.

Michael brings a thoughtful, people-centred approach to health and safety, shaped by his background in organisational psychology. He has always been curious about how people make decisions, how they respond to the systems around them, and what helps them feel confident in meeting their responsibilities. That perspective runs through his work today, where he is known for calm, practical guidance and clear communication that makes compliance feel manageable rather than overwhelming.

His experience spans health and safety consulting, organisational risk management and wider compliance support. As a Chartered Member of IOSH and an Associate Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers, Michael blends strong professional foundations with behavioural insight, helping organisations strengthen their processes, reduce complexity and improve compliance. He has experience in integrated ISO management systems, supporting clients to align quality, environmental and safety objectives so their systems work together smoothly and sustainably.

In every project, Michael brings a strong focus on how people make decisions in real workplaces, helping to shape approaches that support safe, consistent and effective practice. His aim is always the same, to create systems that work for people and deliver lasting value, not just satisfy requirements.

Outside work, Michael enjoys travelling, being on the water, and staying active through tennis, padel and golf. He has a passion for learning new languages and is currently teaching himself the harmonica.

Victoria was the UK Head of Delegation during the development of BS EN ISO 56001:2024 at ISO/TC 279 for Innovation Management. She has actively contributed to the development and refinement of many standards including ISO 56001, ISO 56002, ISO 56000 and ISO 56007.

As a technical expert for BSI in Design and Innovation Management, Victoria brings over two decades of consulting experience, spanning sectors from FMCG, fintech and pharma to marine and infrastructure. She holds a Master's in Innovation Management with Distinction and frequently publishes research on innovation competencies and standardised IMS. She is an agile-certified, qualified industrial designer, and an expert trainer on the ISO 56000 suite of standards.

Glenn is isoLogic's Lead Consultant for Mental Health & Wellbeing, bringing together specialist mental health knowledge, MHFA training experience, and more than 30 years of real-world workplace insight. As a qualified counsellor and an Instructor Member with Mental Health First Aid England, he is known for his warm, engaging, and down-to-earth approach to supporting people and organisations.

His career spans retail, not-for-profit, and senior management within the façade engineering sector, where he holds responsibility for operations, accounts and HR. This blend of leadership experience and mental health knowledge gives Glenn a unique understanding of how organisational culture, wellbeing, and business pressures meet in practice.

Originally from New Zealand and living in the UK since 1998, Glenn completed his Diploma of Higher Education in Integrative Counselling in 2020, the same year he qualified as an MHFA England Instructor Member. He has delivered mental health and wellbeing training, helping individuals, managers, and teams build confidence, skills, and healthier ways of working.

Glenn now brings this depth of experience to isoLogic Thrive, supporting organisations to create healthier, more resilient, and more supportive workplaces. Outside of work, he enjoys writing music for acoustic guitar, kayaking, walking in nature, and gardening.

Charlotte brings over 20 years of experience in administrative roles, along with a wealth of knowledge and reliability to the isoLogic team. Her background spans health and safety, food safety, and fire safety. Charlotte has managed everything from RIDDOR reportable accidents and incident investigations to liaising with claims handlers and local authorities.

At isoLogic, Charlotte helps us with general administration duties, audit planning, scheduling and follow-up, as well as client liaison. Naturally organised and process-driven, she takes pride in doing things properly, and clients know they can trust her to manage the details with accuracy, care, and discretion.

Outside of work, Charlotte finds peace in the quiet, familiar rhythms of home life and the countryside, especially the Lake District. Her office is full of Lego creations, a reflection of her structured thinking and attention to detail. At home, she shares life with her loyal canine sidekick, small in stature but big in attitude - who she insists is the real boss.

Bella is isoLogic's Chief Happiness Officer and the unofficial heartbeat of the team. As a schnoodle with an exceptional talent for boosting morale, she takes her role very seriously. She ensures stress levels stay low, smiles stay frequent, and no working day goes by without a reminder to pause and breathe.

Her responsibilities include supervising screen breaks, offering calm companionship during busy periods, and providing expert-level emotional support through well-timed cuddles and enthusiastic tail wags. Bella also contributes to isoLogic's culture and communications, including writing the occasional short post for our LinkedIn company page, usually focused on wellbeing, balance, and gentle reminders that looking after people matters just as much as looking after systems.
